How Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Can Help You.
Many people are surprised to discover just how many everyday struggles, from anxiety and stress to sleep problems, disordered eating, or low mood, are connected to how our brain tries to cope with discomfort. When anxiety builds, the brain looks for ways to manage it, sometimes through unhelpful habits or behaviours, such as eating disorders, emotional eating, overthinking, or avoidance. These are not signs of weakness, but simply your brain’s way of trying to help you feel safe.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a gentle, science-based approach that helps you create the future you want, free from the problems that have been holding you back. Rather than focusing on the past, we work together to build on your strengths, so change happens naturally and sustainably.
SFH can support people of all ages from 8 years and above, empowering both children and adults to manage anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and rebuild confidence. Many young people today are finding it hard to navigate the pressures of modern life — through SFH, I help them (and their families) understand how their brain works, and how to move forward with calm, clarity, and resilience.

Hypnotherapy is often misunderstood, but it’s a powerful tool that can change the way you think and change your life for better.
Hypnotherapy is a non-invasive combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis. The psychotherapy in itself can be extremely beneficial and its effects are enhanced further by the application of hypnosis, which enables the subconscious mind to make the beneficial changes required.
Many people (myself included until I started studying) believe that hypnotherapy is something that is “done” to them, and worry that they will be “made” to behave strangely as they often see on television hypnotist entertainment shows. They are sometimes led to believe that once they have explained their issues the therapist can then simply hypnotises their problem away, as if by magic.
I give you the wand and help you to wave it! I’ll help you to imagine your preferred future, a future where you have a more useful perspective on the quality of your life. We can work together to make small achievable changes that will start to change your direction. I’ll then guide you, through the use of relaxation and visualisation techniques, into a relaxed state of hypnosis so that we can consolidate what we have discussed.
