This is an area that I have successfully helped many to children overcome. Together, with parents too, we understand the brain and work with it to allow the changes to be made.
It is not necessarily the events in our lives that cause the anxiety, but the way we think about them which cause the problem. Anxiety can occur when we think negatively about the past, present or future. We can feel out of control and no longer ourselves, which is when our ability to enjoy life is then hindered.
In every initial consultation, I explain the theory behind how our brains work. Understanding how our brains respond to different situations, is often the ‘light bulb’ moment when everything falls into place and change can be made.

I think my passion for my work in helping families stems from my own experience many years ago, and the number of amazingly inspirational clients that I have had the fortune to work with over the years. Together we can stabilise and be able to offer the support that our families need whilst being able to enjoy ourselves in the process.
