Walking for wellbeing

It became clear that Youlanda just did not understand why you would go for a walk only to return to your starting point. This concept just did not make any sense to her. She explained that if she was going to walk anywhere it had to be to a certain place where she was then going to stay; like work, shopping, seeing a friend etc.  Never, just walking for walkings sake.

GUEST BLOG – From Living To Train, To Training To Live

Dont go throw yourself into 5 gym sessions a week because that's like throwing a child who's never swam before in the deep end. Go once or twice or get a PT, join a bootcamp, test the water. Get the fundamentals right first like sleep, hydration, fruit and veg and move as much as possible. If you take on board all of this you will begin to be more patient with your expectations of results and appreciate what may seem as the small things but trust me they have the biggest benefits.

Be consistently persistent

There are days, like this morning, when the last thing that I felt like was doing was getting outside and doing anything.... BUT I did, and it's the knowledge that I will feel better for doing it that gets me there.
