About Me
I’m Holly Stone — an award-winning Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist, Food Freedom Coach, Senior Lecturer, and Supervisor at CPHT Hampshire.
But beyond the qualifications and titles, I’m also a mum, a woman navigating menopause, and someone who has personally experienced the challenges of living in a body that’s constantly changing.
For years, I’ve supported clients to ease anxiety, improve sleep, and find peace with food, helping them build confidence and freedom in their daily lives. But my work is also deeply shaped by my own experiences — as both a therapist and a parent.
A Personal Journey
I’m the mum of a recovering anorexic, and that journey has been one of the most humbling, painful, and ultimately inspiring experiences of my life.
Being a carer for someone with an eating disorder can feel terrifying, isolating, and lonely. You want to do everything right — to help, to protect, to heal — but often you’re left feeling helpless and unheard.
That’s why I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for carers and parents too. Because carers matter. Your wellbeing matters. You can’t pour from an empty cup — and you deserve support, understanding, and connection just as much as the person you’re caring for.
I’m developing online resources and information sheets, as well as a Facebook support group, where parents and carers can speak freely, share experiences, and support one another without judgement.
Real Life, Real Women
Like so many women, I’ve spent years battling with body image, weight gain, and a history of prolific dieting.
Now, as I move through menopause and all the changes it brings — the hot flushes, shifting moods, and expanding waistline — I’m learning, once again, how to practice compassion towards myself.
In my home, talk of weight, calories, and body size is off-limits — because I know how powerful and harmful those words can be. And yet, I’m honest about the fact that this isn’t always easy. I, too, have my own moments of frustration and doubt.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) continues to be my anchor — helping me navigate the highs and lows, to focus on the bigger picture rather than the scales, and to embrace a mindset of calm acceptance and growth.
A Space for Healing and Hope
Through both my professional expertise and personal experience, my mission is to help others — whether they are struggling with food, anxiety, or simply the overwhelm of life — find clarity, strength, and peace of mind.
If you’re a parent, a carer, or simply someone trying to find balance in your own life, please know this: you are not alone.
Together, we can explore a gentler way forward — one filled with understanding, connection, and hope.
