Understanding Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a modern therapeutic approach that combines the principles of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with the power of hypnosis. This method draws inspiration from the work of Milton H. Erickson, a renowned hypnotherapist whose techniques influenced the founders of SFBT, Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg. SFH integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and direct hypnosis to create a powerful tool for personal change.

How Does it work?

As an award winning professional hypnotherapist, my focus is on the present and future, rather than delving into the past. This forward-looking approach allows us to identify what you want to change in your life without needing to explore the details of what brought you here. By using hypnosis in conjunction with SFBT, CBT, and NLP techniques, we can work together to achieve significant and positive changes in a relatively short period. I am working as part of a research project currently measuring the clinical outcomes of my work along with my colleagues and the results so far are very exciting.
